I installed the iOS 26 public beta on my main phone a couple of weeks ago. I took such an instant dislike to Liquid Glass that I'm writing this on a Samsung Galaxy Z Flip 7, and I also have a Pixel 9a on the way to try out.
Picked up a Bambu Labs P1S 3D printer. Having only previously used a Prusa Mini and an Ender 3, my mind is blown by how fast this thing is!

Does anybody have any idea if there’s a way to get around an Apple Watch saying ā€œUnable to Verify Updateā€?

I can’t use my watch any more, as I unpaired it to try and fix this and now it won’t re-pair because it can’t update. I’ve tried pairing it to different phones, and on different Wi-Fi networks and nothing seems to work.

@mergesort Looks like there may be a bit of an issue with the way Short Circuit displays lists?

Gotta say, it's pretty cool having the app you work on featured on the front page of the Mac App Store 😊

Xcode is having one of *those* days. There are no errors in this code, and it builds and runs fine, but Xcode doesn’t agree and highlights a load of lines as errors. Makes it very difficult to find and fix when there’s a real problem in my code! (And yes, I've tried restarting Xcode, cleaning the build, clearing derived data…)

@paul How come often the follower counts in Ivory don’t match those on the web? (And don’t show any followers if I try and tap in)

I often also see ā€˜no posts’ when I go to someone’s profile. Is it an issue with Ivory, my instance, or Mastodon in general?

@ivory Weirdly I have no icon sharing for Ivory
Lamenting the lack of a Microsoft Creative Writer, Fine Artist, or 3D Movie Maker for kids these days. I spent hours playing with these when I was young. I would love my kids to have something similar to play with, but they have to use ā€˜grown up’ word processors and art apps.
