@davezatz tablo made me realize the antenna could work but Channels is so much better.

@davezatz after a few months with Tablo, the crappy software made me throw in the towel. I gave in and bought an HDHR for antenna and went back to Channels which is a much superior experience. Saw no improvement from Tablo over the 6 months I used it.
@davezatz I loved how last year they got me to move to the Magenta Max for the better phone discounts and then this year, those discounts are only available on a more expensive plan. Seems like a price increase to me. They are crooks, but they have class action waivers to protect them.

@davezatz channels was great with TV everywhere but that seems to be dying. To pay a monthly fee to only get some of my channels seems like a waste. I never tried hdhr
@davezatz not watching at the moment but it isn't particularly hot.
@davezatz will go check. It doesn't seem to integrate with Channels at this time, btw
@davezatz so after locating it near a2nd floor window, I have all the networks other than ABC.
@davezatz setting it up now. Pretty slick setup process. Seems to be finding all the network channels on the antenna. Let's see if they work consistently.
@davezatz just ordered the tablo4 and will try to see if it can work well enough for broadcast channels. If yes, then channels dvr can go away, as it keeps losing more tve channels.
