The more the U.K government keep going on about how it's disrespectful to protest on Armistice Day, the more I look into the history of Armistice Day. The more I look into the history of Armistice Day, the more I know that their version of Armistice Day bears no resemblance to Armistice Day.

It's a day to express our complex, ambiguous, contradictory feelings towards war. Commemoration, Celebration, Mourning, Protest, it's all those things,and more.

It's Our day, not Theirs.

The UK was one of the first in the world to vaccinate our population. Our rollout was excellent and achieved very rapid coverage, starting with the most vulnerable.

They've made it clear that they won't do this. That will make them complicit in what happens.

Advisers have also discussed deploying the military to quell potential unrest on Inauguration Day. Critics have called the ideas under consideration dangerous and unconstitutional.
