I wholeheartedly welcome the movement towards a decentralised social media landscape. I see it as a movement away from the idea that one app can contain all of our social interactions, our entire social circle. It’s a movement towards many differing communities and many different ways of interacting.

I’m excited to learn new ways of using social media and hopeful that we can make new terms for ourselves, terms that don’t rely on the capitalisation of our attention.
