I love Linux, I have been running it since the 90s in one form or another. I also love to game, my favorite games are openworld rpg's (elden ring, skyrim, elder scrolls, WoW..etc..)

My current Linux distro of choice is Arch Linux for home desktop, and Debian for servers, with Rocky Linux coming in a strong second.

Need to reboot the #mastodon instance, upgrading the cpu/ram, it seems that a 2gb instance on #Linode isn't big enough once you get federated traffic. :)

Can anyone recommend a mastodon relay server that will accept my small instance? So far off the popular lists, only one has accepted me and it seems to be mostly Japanese content, which is wonderful, except I cannot read or understand Japanese :) #mastadon

Now that my instance is being relayed through a relay instance, I am see way more traffic. Tempting to make this my main mastodon instance. If anyone is interested in a @masto.fratm.com you can sign up at https://masto.fratm.com and then email me so I know you signed up. I will only be allowing a limited number of accounts at first.

@int_penguin That's cool. I have been pronouncing it correctly all these years, I always assumed it was a German word, and E at the end of a word is usually pronounced AH, so SUE-suh just came naturally to me.
