I’ve added a new rule as of 2025/07/16 after a user report. The Code of Conduct doesn’t really have any sort of “don’t be a jerk” catch all for posts, so I’ve added one for this community. It’s purpose is to allow removal of singular toxic posts (e.g. “Fuck you, this is such a brain-dead take,” “I hate this, stop posting your unfunny shit”). The appended rule is added to the main post, but I will also include the snippet below. Let me know if you have any issues with this rule, and we can try to refine it if necessary.

**5. Don’t be a jerk — Have tact, don’t antagonize other posters.**

A catch all rule for things which don’t explicitly fall under the code of conduct, but where it’s clear someone is needlessly attacking a poster or commenter, and making the community a less welcoming space in doing so. If you disagree with someone, or dislike a post which doesn’t break rules, please respond without being intentionally demeaning, hostile, or otherwise insulting to them. This is a community focused around jokes, memes, and relatable images, and people should be able to share or discuss relevant things without being attacked over it. Feel free to discuss and disagree, but if it seems like you’re more interested in being a jerk than sharing an opinion, your post will be removed.
