Reminder: Please give Sync a bad rating on the Playstore - Lemmy.World

I already made this post a year ago, and indeed: Sync has been left to die, and we have been scammed. Please give Sync a bad rating so unsuspecting users don’t use, or even worse buy, an abandoned app.

This is a really cool package for C# based projects. It gives you attributes that parse the Godot (scene, project etc.) files & auto-generates all the boilerplate for accessing nodes, events when exported variables are changed, etc.

I haven’t played around too much yet, but the SceneTree integration works great (at least with Rider on Aurora), so I’m sure the rest works well too! If you have any experience, please share your thoughts!

[Spoilers] Let's speculate about... - Lemmy.World

… the Void! I couldn’t have been happier to see it expanded upon in Silksong, it’s probably my favorite aspect of the worldbuilding, but we still know almost nothing about it. Feel free to share any fun ideas or theories! I also have a few questions I’d love to get this communities thoughts on: 1. Is there one huge mass of Void that reaches to Hallownest, Pharloom & possibly other kingdoms, but still ultimately just one finite body of “liquid”? Or is it below everything? 2. Is there anything solid below, and if so, how deep does it go? (e.g. in relation to the depth of GMSs cocoon) 3. Is the surface everywhere generally on the same elevation? Some small openings below Hallownest are at slightly different heights, but not by much. Below Pharloom AFAIK it’s either the same, or all the same height. 4. Are the Void Tendrils creatures living inside the body of liquid? Or are they manifestations of the Void itself? If they are creatures, were they born like that, or did they turn into that form? 5. When the White Lady mentions the Void in the Red Memory, she says: > Witness, the first light. The only means we possess to resist that void with which our family is forever linked. Does “our family” here refer to the Pale King, White Lady, Hornet etc., or is it referring to Pale beings in general?

Nightreign launches in 5 days! - Lemmy.World

What do you all think - getting it at launch? Waiting a bit? Or even skipping it entirely? I’m getting it at launch, though mostly for single player. I love FromSofts lore, so I hope we learn a bit about the world of Elden Ring (pre-Shattering) through Nightreign. But I’m definitely much less excited than I was for Shadow of the Erdtree.

[MODERATION] Rules update & clarification - Lemmy.World

Hey all! @[email protected] [https://sh.itjust.works/u/LambdaRX] and I wanted to give a quick update on the rules, since we received a couple of questions. We’ve tried to clarify rule 3 a bit, now it reads: > 3. Don’t spoil people in a way they can’t circumvent - that means no mentions in post titles/comments outside spoiler threads for: > - comics spoilers about something that hasn’t happened in the show > - TV show spoilers if it’s been less than a week since the episode aired As you can see we’ve shortened the time a bit to allow better discussion after new episodes, and we’ve clarified how spoilers should be hidden. What do you guys think? Does this work for everyone, or is something unclear? ------ A short aside, since this is the first real “moderator” type communication we’re putting out - WOW, hard to believe how the community has grown! Already more than 150 subscribers, and almost 500 people visiting last month. Thank you all for being a part of this, and for making the moderation such an easy job. You guys are amazing, we can’t thank you enough!
