Best option I’ve found is GrapheneOS (I have a Pixel 7 which I bought second hand so Google don’t get any additional money). Still Android but gives you more control over the data Google can see/use. Gives a sandboxed play store and services so banking apps still work fine.
@GrapheneOS If it turns out graphene can't be put on future pixel models, how long will devices with current pixels be supported? The full 7 years?

@GrapheneOS Thank you for all of your hard work in the privacy and security community. I just picked up graphene yesterday and it's my favorite of all time OS. I feel finally free, like I actually own my phone.

We can potentially backport our Android 16 kernel builds as a whole. We'll also need the Exynos RIL updates and some other things.

Our completed Android 16 port has been going through testing to find/fix regressions. Most development time is going into redoing device support.
