@gruber At the pixel event SVP Adrienne Lofton with Jimmy Fallon (🤷🏼‍♂️) took a jab at the walled garden that “some companies” take to their phones, saying that Android is “the most open platform that’s built for true freedom of choice.” Samsung was the first with Qi in 2015, Apple in 2017 and later MagSafe in 2020. If the 100s of Android OEMs operating in this “open platform” are driving choice and innovation, and with such a head start on Apple with Qi, why did they land on this? 👇
