I'm thrilled to share that after over three years of collective effort, Political Geography in Practice now has its own webpage and is available for preorder, with publication set for November 20th, 2024.

It’s been a privilege working alongside three incredible co-editors, and together we’ve curated an outstanding selection of contributors who truly set the agenda for the practice of political geography.

Some news! My upcoming book now has a cover, and I couldn't be more excited about it. Thirst should come out with Verso Books within the first half of 2024. Feel free to drop me a message if you're interested in learning more about the book (and potential translations). Looking forward to hearing from you!

"The walls spoke when no one else would". Here is the chapter that accused "Star Professor" Boaventura de Sousa Santos of sexual misconduct, and that is now prompting many others to speak up.

Writing this must have been difficult and emotional for the authors. I expect/hope the University of Coimbra takes a position on this

Well, I started using my cool MCR water bottle in 2016, and my hygiene levels so far have been OK.

Freedom of choice, indeed.

I am wrapping up my chapter on bottled water, quite an engaging matter.

If you think that your reusable water bottle is cool...think twice, or at least, that's what a top guy in the industry (in Italy) says:

"We are worried about the popularity of reusable aluminium or plastic water bottles in public offices, schools, companies, hospitals and ministries. […] One day someone will reflect not only about the risk of destroying a healthy sector, which (1)

I set out the concept of crisis policy making, highlighting four aspects of the socio-political conditions and processes through which government decision-making happens under ongoing and multiple crisis states: speed, opacity, revanchism, and experimentation.

P11: Where and what is the 'global' water crisis in the Anthropocene?

This panel explores how the water crisis is framed and spatially unfolds in the Anthropocene. To this aim, it examines emerging dimensions of the water crisis, and considers how theorisations of the Anthropocene have re-shaped our understandings of the water crisis.
