@studyinmovement I haven’t tried it with that delivery method. I’ll bring it up with my doc and see if it seems like a good option. It’s worth a try!

@studyinmovement it is what it is. How about you? Do you have to take B12 too?

@studyinmovement @PanickedFoodie I have migraines and B12 is a trigger. I also get nauseous and woozy. Then the few days I have more energy it triggers hypomania. (I’m bipolar too.) We were hoping that going to shots would bypass most of that but it didn’t. It’s so hard to walk this fine line between side effects we HAVE to suffer through vs side effects we don’t have to deal with when there are other options for meds that work the same or similarly. It takes years to find the right balance.

@studyinmovement @PanickedFoodie mine is always “within normal ranges” but on the lower side of it. They’ve put me on B12 shots saying it could be low enough to cause the nerve problems but they make me sick. Any B12 outside of food makes me sick. And the foods it’s in make my kidneys sick. It’s almost enough to throw up your hands and give up.

@studyinmovement @McCullohMD I have SFN too. It’s gabapentin and THC combo. Doesn’t fix the problem but the weed helps with the nerve “vibrations” I call it. Feels like I’m running or tapping my feet when I’m sitting still, and no visible foot movements. When SFN isn’t related to diabetes then we can’t really “fix” the problem. Mine is caused by out of control autoimmune disease. But so far all attempts to treat me have failed.
