Congratulations 🥳 to Valeska von Mitzlaff, a Diploma student at the FIWI, who won 2nd place in the poster competition (jury of science journalists) at the Vetmed Science Day 2024!

Chris Walzer and Friederike Pohlin (both
@VetmeduniVienna), actively contributed to discussions, emphasizing the importance of health considerations in reintroduction and restoration efforts.
Francesca Vitali (on the right, Smithsonian Institution, @IUCN CTSG) organized two side-events focused on wildlife health in restoration, together with Friederike Pohlin - many thanks for the wonderful collaboration!
We look back at three successful events with contributions from #FriederikePohlin at #COP16, focusing on better integrating wildlife health, scientific research, and gender equity within the global biodiversity framework.
