Summary: Extreme longevity and reduced ageing in reproductive individuals have evolved multiple times along with eusociality in insects and mammals. In order to understand this fascinating phenomenon .... I am investigating the existence of universal, molecular signatures of eusocial longevity in coding and non-coding genomic regions.
