If a corporation found out how to siphon away the helium and hydrogen from the Sun but it came at the cost of killing the Sun in a century, they would do it.
There is a #music group call Cusco that produced new age/world music from the 80s into the 2000s. I discovered them because #disney would use some of their music for the pre-show for the fireworks at #EPCOT. But holy crap this group has a death grip on my listening habits. It's the perfect music that can both be used as background music or music you actively listen to. They will probably be my most listened to band for another year when Spotify give me my year review. The autism in me go brrrrrr
Man. This brings back memories to find an unused trial in a copy of Modern Warfare 2 I got at a second hand store. Too bad I can't redeem it on my #Xbox 360
I also have an Olympus Infinity SuperZoom 300 (what a name). I got it for free from a lovely old man at my last job when he found out I was interested in film photography. He gave it to me and a few rolls of film. The camera is a fun point and shoot. But the auto focus is fairly hit or miss and I don't have the kind of control I want from a mechanical SLR. It's also very lousy in low light conditions. Also the flash has burned out.
My Kodak Pocket Instamatic 20 is a fun nugget of a camera. I found it at a thrift store for $5. I've only put 3 rolls of 110 film through it. All of it B&W. Honestly, it's a bit of a pain to get decent shots. Part of that could be attributed to the only B&W 110 film being ISO100. But the biggest issue is getting it developed. I know a place that will send it off but it's really out of my way and the wait time is also pretty bad (3-4 weeks).
I don't own a ton for my #filmphotography but I honestly do love my Minolta. The SRT101 is a wonderful tank of a camera. Plus the lenses feel quality and are still pretty inexpensive. My 50mm f1.4 is great and I kinda forget I have a 28mm and 200mm.
The biggest take away from Frank Herbert's DUNE was all desert planets must have a worm. In #books #movies and/or #videogames It's law.
