I got into the Garmin SDK over the weekend, I now have a working widget for my local Hackerspace :) I only had to figure out how to combine a background delegate with a web request and implement the glance correctly so data is available. Also their background example is either broken or I am bad at copying, but the initial version copied from their example never registered the background service...

I recently got a Ham Radio license for Germany (Klasse E) and hopped into the deep end by ordering a TYT UV380 which is already running @openrtx. What's left to do is the soldering to let the MCU on the radio receive voice from the mic and route a PWM output pin from the MCU to the baseband. To do this I disassembled the radio after work.

Things are finally coming together. I got RAM and SSD for my @frameworkcomputer 12th gen board, setup the sensepeek PCBites probes and now have debug output from the embedded controller, which means I can start testing the current EC code before running it on my production laptop. This also makes development and testing possible! 🎉

All systems go starts now.

What would we do without 3d printing? The pop filter arm is not compatible with the boom arm, so I designed and printed an adapter. First time using solvespace as well which a friend showed me for his project recently.
