September blooms from the garden. Not a drop of rain here in Houma for more than 2 weeks. October has come early!

In order: #lycoris #queenofshebavine #corkscrewvine #orchid #morningglory #asparagusbeanbloom #dahlia
Summer's bounty. Hot weather crops like cucuzza, muscadine and job's tears are really showing off in the soaring temperatures. The zinnias and sunflowers are doing admirably as well. There are still a few lilies showing out as well.
#rose "Veranda Brilliant"

Took the picture three times because it's windy out and this bloom was a siren's call. No filter on this photo, though the petals are more clearly defined in life. This rose has been described as "neon" and I reckon I'd agree.
#peas blooming in the garden. Not sure if I'll get any since it's been a little warm, but I really dig the variegated leaves on this one.
The #anemone survived with just a sheet to cover. Since they were planted in fall, they grew to bloom just in time for the snowstorm. Glad to see it!
