Hi all, I’m a clinical #SocialWorker in #EmergencyMedicine & part-time lecturer at a couple of MSW programs in #LosAngeles.
I’m interested in #SocialWork/social welfare/social justice movements in L.A.’s history including those previously left out of the textbooks. I’m also dedicated to educating students on L.A. @SocialWork ‘s not-so-proud moments.

@profmattdecarlo Well, the process began with a stance, held by many in the SW Big Four that SW doesn’t need tech standards. So, that set the tone going forward.
@profmattdecarlo I was one of the 3 practitioners who contributed to the Tech Standards. Yes, THREE total- and I’m pretty sure we were an afterthought (our title was “Technology Standards Sub-Task Force Advisory Group)
