At least I'm not dead...

yet.

I still find joy in living. I hope for real connections in a physical world, sharing meals, collaborating musically, laughter over phone (see pinned post for interests).

Lives should be shared in person. If you were passing through Vermont, I'd make time for you.

If you really want to connect, send me a Direct Message/PM.
If you're really interested in my music, JUST SAY SO. I'll send you some.

Pronouns: Anything, HEY YOU, or wave a piece of cake. I'll respond.

May the 4th, etc.

The Telephone of the Wind was created in Japan by Itaru Sasaki, while grieving his cousin who died of cancer. He purchased an old-fashioned phone booth and set it up in his garden. He installed an obsolete rotary phone not connected to wires or any "earthly system." Here, Itaru felt a continued connection to his cousin and found comfort and healing amid his grief. Itaru gave his phone booth a name, Kaze No Denwa (風の電話), Telephone of the Wind.

I am trying to find a steel septum tusk like this one, which I bought in the U.S. about 15 years ago.

It is about 64mm long (2.5 inch) and this one is 2.5mm (10-gauge) in the notch and 3.0mm (8-gauge) outside of the notch. I would like to be able to buy more of this same size, also longer (~75mm or 3-inch, maybe ~88mm or 3.5 inch) and perhaps also heavier (3.0 mm/8g in the notch and 3.5 mm or 4.0 mm/6g outside the notch).

I think mine was made by Body Circle, but they've discontinued them. I cannot seem to find any other source. I find some pages from the States when I search, but they all say "discontinued/no stock" when I visit the page or try to order. I would buy from a source in Canada, Europe, Asia, Australia...anywhere, really, with good quality. Can anyone offer a pointer?

Otherwise: can anyone recommend a shop or crafter who can make such a thing?

I'm not the Paul Taylor who came up to me in the pub and said "Are you Paul Taylor? Me too!"
I am the Paul Taylor on the right in this photo.

The voices I heard were from...

Partners in love and songwriting, @jgerhardtmusic (she/her) and @arendleejessurun (they/them) are the indie folk duo, Tupesto. They craft songs honoring the dead, confronting injustice, and turning the prism of love

That song was "Into the Light"

I was working on the farm this morning and heard familiar voices in one of the songs ringing from the main greenhouse.

I always share my music finds with everyone I know. It is the easiest way for others to know and understand who you are.

I was surprised to hear something I shared with a co-worker to be in their playlist… and being played!

Anyway, it is a beautiful song. The lyrics, voices, instruments and production are just beautiful.

It was a wonderful start to rough day on the farm.
