Lemmy.world is garbage. Come to Lemmy.ml where Zuckerberg is not present.

It most certainly is.

Why on earth would you want to associate with a company that just handed over private data to authorities to have a woman arrested for exercising her reproductive rights?

Remove your head from your asshole.

Suck it - there’s no need for any more detail.

Meta is a bastard organization willing to share your data with authorities.

If that’s not enough reason to part ways, you’re not paying attention.

100% agree.

The admin who wrote this post should have their admin powers removed. If that were even possible.

They clearly do not have Lemmy’s best interests in mind.

This entire bullshit wall of text post makes me want to ditch Lemmy altogether.

The hoops and bullshit arguments - give me a break.

The Lemmy.world admins should just admit they’re either being paid or pressured into federating with Meta because there’s absolutely ZERO benefit to the community and its users by doing so.

Can we remove/permaban the moron admins that are even considering this?

Fucking Meta just helped get a woman arrested for having an abortion.

I’m already wiping my .world accounts and moving to .ml but there’s no guarantee that instance won’t become compromised too.

There’s no valid reason for any instance to consider federating with Meta.

If Lemmy.world federates with Meta/Threads, I will delete my accounts and ditch Lemmy altogether.

It’s shameful that this is even up for discussion.

What an embarrassment.

If there’s a way to switch my existing username to another instance, I may try that.

However, the fact that any of this is even being considered makes me want to ditch aggregation platforms altogether and just pick up a new hobby.

I’ll ditch Lemmy entirely.

Threads/Meta/Zuckerbag are cancer.

And I say this as someone who has lost loved ones to cancer.

Impeccable username.

The people who negotiate your medical claims make more money on the settlement commissions than the doctors even make from their procedures.

And there’s like 25-40 people total who handle the claims for every single health insurance company.
