Historical, this is true. But I believe over the last decade this has flipped the other way around.

I’ve been playing it the past few weeks with no issue, I’m on Garuda Linux with Hyprland. I have a 7900 XTX. The have runs at a consistent 100fps for about 2 hours then I start to get frame hitches where I drop down to 40. Just restarting the game fixes that issue for me.

I’m with you on this, but let’s not forget the whole Counter-Strike economy is based on gambling, which I think is also not good, especially because there’s a lot of young kids picking that up and becoming gambling addicts, which I think is a net negative for people.
