@davew I suspect Google, Microsoft and Apple will bake their AIs into all of their text-based products very quickly. It's already happening in several apps.

@davew truth. How do we avoid this? I refuse to use all apps of one brand, but they make it hard. They are cyber-bullies meets oligarchs. Ugly babies, imho.

Here's the first thing that should be regulated about AI.

Google should be prohibited from tying pre-existing products with their AI product.

They're behaving like a classic monopolist.

@topintech it will be interesting to see what happens when those who were being sold to on XTwitter become ex-tweeters. Without the large audience (which didn’t respond enough or Musk wouldn’t be asking for their ‘donations’) who will bother? Reading this drove me back here where it feels like the community actually cares about the future of humanity.

He talked about electric cars. I don't know anything about cars, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.

Then he talked about rockets. I don't know anything about rockets, so when people said he was a genius I figured he must be a genius.

Now he talks about software. I happen to know a lot about software & Elon Musk is saying the stupidest shit I've ever heard anyone say, so when people say he's a genius I figure I should stay the hell away from his cars and rockets.
