It’s both funny and depressing when I receive unsolicited emails from staffing companies for workers that cost significantly more than I make as CISO.

These vendor cold calls to my personal phone are getting out of control. To whomever got a hold of my number and then sold it to every company on the planet, I hope every sick or vacation day you take gets interrupted by telemarketers fifteen times.

Would it be too much of an asshole move to respond to a vendor with something like, “If your licensing is so complicated that it requires a meeting to tell me rather than replying to my email, then I’m no longer interested in your product?”

Having a Lord of the Rings day. Had breakfast, second breakfast, and getting ready for Elevensies. Then luncheon, afternoon tea, dinner, and supper. Hopefully done before the Lions start. Yes, we are a family of nerds lol.

I’m glad past me put all the emulators, games, and configs in a single folder. It made swapping out the machine in my cabinet much easier than I anticipated!
