I'm getting to the age where you schedule colonoscopies. So it's time for a mid-life crisis purchase. The stereotypical sports car purchase doesn't make sense. I still have the sports car I bought before I could drink. So...race car?
I spent my teens competitively racing R/C cars with my dad. We took our old cars out to the track on his birthday a few years back. It reminded me how much fun it could be.
So, I hiked down to the local R/C track and bought everything I needed to race. Time to go hit the track again and have some fun.
What you're looking at is an Associated Electrics RC10B7D Team Kit. Built to ROAR spec standards. I still have some of the kit to needed to race. Like this red pit mat from the defunct R/C car race motor company Twister.
It does feel weird to be running an RC10. I used to be a Team Losi guy, not Associated Electrics. A very Ford/Chevy vibe there, but Losi seems to have ended their serious race program.

‘Trying to recruit officers at a rally built on fear mongering, xenophobia, and all the phobias just feels like a really irresponsible thing to do’

If You Rolled Colorado Out Into A Brownie, How Big Would It Be?

A seriously great review of the Pinus from Rattan.

Rattan’s newest electric bike has a name you can’t say in polite company
TLDR - Powdr Corp. is challenging the 29-3 vote to unionize ski patrol. Their reasoning? The unpaid volunteer ski patrol members didn't get a vote. Of course, even if all of them did get a vote and voted against the union, it would still have passed because of that 29-3 margin. Classy work Powdr!
