A fragmentation in the ruling class would be really bad for Trump and his people. It’s not actually good for normal people at all because it’ll push the assholes back to the slow authoritarian creep that was working well til Trump fucked it up, but I’ll rest a little easier knowing he’s probably losing friends at the top just for his relative inability to protect them. If there are people like this, they’re probably thinking Mamdani wouldn’t have won either.
