High Ping Issue - Lemmy.World

Hi all, Does anyone having crazy network latency swing right now? Or, is it just me? Using the ping test website, https://gameserverping.com/overwatch [https://gameserverping.com/overwatch], I can my ping bouncing between 20-300 ms. It has been like this for days now, so it is not my internet. So, I am just wondering if Blizzard has decided to cut some cost on the OW server. This is like 100 years after season 2
Why bother update, Window 12 is going to be out soon anyway.
It took me a hot minute to realise that they were talking about Twitter, lmao.
Just buy the Steam Deck.

I looked into it.

The problem was definitely the connection between the Steam ans Battlenet servers. This also cause your in game competive rank to go crazy, and register your rank multiple times, pushing everyone else down. This can be see on the leaderboard, if it is still there.

Stupidly so. The solution is to either wait until the it fix itself. Or (in my case after 1 full day of waiting) is to download and open the game via Battle.net, which would manually refresh the account information. This does not fix the multiple rank entry issue though.

They will take your money but won’t give you the content or coins. If you try getting support. Blizzard will redirect you to Steam support, who will then redirect you back to Blizzard support. Also, you can’t get a refund. FUCK THIS GAME. I AM OUT.

Not fast enough
It is ok. The corruption happened because I was trying to revert to a back up on mass (restoring my entire Home directory)

Yeah…

I tried flatpak update -v with no luck. sudo flatpak repair and then reboot does not work either. flatpak uninstall --all it is. Then, I just used Déjà Dup (flathub.org/apps/org.gnome.DejaDup) to restore the app configurations, that I had backup. Also. Thanks for recommending Flatsweep, that is the coolest thing I got out of all of this.ps://flathub.org/apps/org.gnome.DejaDup) to restore the app configurations, that I had backup.
