I’m NOT a big fan of cold weather, I had enough of that to last a lifetime growing up in NW Indiana. At 17, I packed up my car with all of my belongings and moved to MiamiI, fell in LOVE with the area and the diversity. Got a job, worked my way up, had a family and built my life. I have been in FL ever since, it’s my home. BUT, when the occasional cold front comes through Tampa, I do think to myself, it’s time for me to move south.

Sample collection tube on Mars collected and dropped by the Perseverance Rover in Jezero crater. There will be a future robotic mission to pick this up and return it to earth. If that doesn’t happen the next time this tube moves it will most likely will be picked up by a human.

A family of manatee came up our canal for a visit the other morning, they are awesome! I learned that they LOVE being sprayed with a garden hose, I assume it’s because it feels good? 🤷🏼‍♂️
