Empty seats at the seder. Empty seats at our shabbat dinner table.
I've seen a number of ideas how to remember the hostages this #Passover such as leaving an empty place at the seder table for them.

Made a point to go to my synagogue's menorah lighting yesterday for the first night of Hanuka.
At home we light an additional Hanukia for the 138 hostages still being held by Hamas (139 including Avera Mengistu held by them since 2014). #Hanuka #Chanukah #Mazeldon
It's 30 days after Hamas' invasion of southern Israel. Shloshim marks the end of one phase of mourning. A close friend's sister and brother in law were murdered in their home on the 7th. Since he is a better man than me, he read this quote by Primo Levi at the memorial.
I used to find Hamas' charter odd. Surely, they couldn't be serious. Then I figured taking out the trash in Gaza moderated them to some extent. How deeply wrong I was.
