@malwaretech it is overblown but I can say when I asked it to write a c2 framework in python3 and it did I thought it was cool. Then prompting it to add TLS security on all network connections and watching it rewrote the code it just printed to add TLS was more interesting. Tell it to translate the code into C Sharp, Rust, and Go really blew me away.
Dropping a sample of a malicious script as input and having it quickly modify it for my needs was mind blowing. But this was all possible before ChatGPT with OpenAI playground access.
It is overhyped but should not be ignored.
