To see if all the envelopes and pieces got the right position, I took the pieces out of the envelopes and turned or flipped them and tried to solve the puzzle.

I’ve seldom seen a group of grown-ups having so much fun with a kids puzzle. After finishing the puzzle, we discussed what we learned about team dynamics, group organization and communication by this exercise.

I took a XXL kids jigsaw puzzle with 24 pieces. I put each piece in an envelope and I distributed the envelopes among the participants.
The rules were:
• Don’t show the piece to anybody else. Just talk and describe what you see.
• If you think you found the position of the piece, put the envelopes in a grid on the floor.
• You have all time you need.
• If the group thinks they are finished, I’ll try to solve the puzzle.
