Please please consider prioritizing this feature Apollo had. I love Voyager and yes it’s the most Apollo esque, but this feature Apollo had has yet to be developed sadly. It seems to be that Avelon(another great 3rd party Lemmy client) has ceased development and unfortunately this was the only Lemmy client I’ve found that implemented this feature. I find the nav bars being constantly on display so distracting, annoying, and useless when browsing content. It’s a bit mind boggling to me that people are okay with having the nav bars on constantly lol but yeah it would be appreciated if this was feature ever got implemented. Voyager would be a 10:10 super tip worthy app for me at that point.

Yes, try Avelon OP! It’s really good. The UI is so smooth. Scrolling. And it has the ability to hide bars on scroll. It seems I’m the only one who cares about this feature haha but to me it makes content look much better without the navigation bars constantly being on display.
Avelon is phenomenal. Especially the hide bars on scroll feature. No other app has this. I wonder if it’s hard to develop? I remember the developer of Apollo had quite a few bugs with it in the beginning.
I like Voyager a lot. It’s definitely the most Apollo esque. Other than the lack of hide bars on scroll feature. The bars at the bottom and the top can be distracting and I find content looks better when they disappear as you scroll.
Huh? No I would just like to know what’s the plan so I can do my part. Otherwise it’s just empty words to me like I said. I’ve heard this eat the rich sort of talk for years now. What’s good is it if nothing ever comes of it?
