Seit wann gibt es auf Mastodon denn Profil Empfehlungen??? 😮
Let me introduce you to... The sun ☀.
@randomrbn I can agree with that.
In my experience the large majority of people is category one. Followed by category two and the least, most savee but really tiny bubble belongs to category three.

On #YouTube there of course is a lot of trash videos.
But there are also some, which go really deep into certain topics.
For example #psychology and #philosophy.

I recently watched a bunch of videos which really resonated in me.

Do you know some videos of that category too?

If so, feel invited to share them in the comments.

I will start with some.

I don't think we were made for this

YouTube
@randomrbn indeed. I think it's sad but also some kind relatable.
@randomrbn I don't get notifications for mastodon so I'm sorry that I reply so late.

@randomrbn they do. But IMHO just repeating the same message ever and ever again will not make it actual better.
It's like some politician telling people on every election that everything will be better when they vote for them but in the end nothing did change.

Just empty words without actions.

Still in my opinion Twitter got the higher potential. Altough, with some kind of recommendations algorithm and more advertising mastodon could grow to a real competitor.
In fact mastodon is far better then threads or bluesky in mho.
Just more features and reliability.
Threads and bluesky is just hyped currently.

One of the things I prefer about mastodon over Twitter is when you delete a post, media is actually going to be deleted. Not stored anyways but not shown anymore...

At least I suppose so by the slogan.

Every time #whatsapp shows me something like this, it doesn't feel more safe.
It feels more and more like propaganda...
