Github should add 🤡 as a reaction emoji. That would increase the amount of issues I can react to significantly.
If you use any software in any language other than English, I'm legally obligated to make fun of you every time you misunderstand or can't find something because of a shitty translation.
@wolf480pl I suggest to just proxy-cache the images, instead of doing a full mirror. I made a PR for `distribution` that allows it to act as a proxy for multiple remote registries at once: https://github.com/distribution/distribution/pull/3864 (not merged yet, but working just fine)
Add support for namespaces in proxy registry by DerEnderKeks · Pull Request #3864 · distribution/distribution

This PR adds support for multiple remote registries when using distribution in proxy mode using the ns query parameter, which is proposed to the OCI spec here and already implemented in Containerd....

@Jonly @nilsding Not really. Per RIPE-690 you should only assign /56 or larger subnets to customers. With a single /32 that would be 256ki subnets. With the more appropriate size of /48, that would only be 1ki subnets. However, an ISP can easily request more IPv6 address space if needed.

I made a tool to view @mikrotik supout.rif files. Unlike the official one it works completely locally, doesn't hide anything and looks decent.

@quad SMTP isn't even that impressive, it's a fairly simple protocol. The fact that it supports both IMAP and LDAP is way more interesting.
On one of my ZFS pools >220.000 snapshots accumulated, because the cleanup job was misconfigured.
I'm amazed that this pool is still doing anything, although printing the list of all the snapshots already took like an hour.
It's one of the few times a year when I need to change some DNS records in Cloudflare, and now their API is broken and records don't propagate.
IaaS is so much fun.
It should be forbidden to upload songs shorter than 3 minutes to Spotify.
You know, without Web3 NFT bullshit, there was a lost era of decentralized gaming back when it wasn't cost effective to have massive servers for users. Old games which used the host/join system. Hell, just games where one client in a LAN also acted as the server computer. I get it, it's just easier to run all your online interactions through Nintendo, but like... Those old games can still go online, whereas everything else just died. That's sad and we should make that a consideration again.
