"Tonight an unbelievable **34,000 people** gathered for our Denver rally to take on billionaires and win our country back.

This was the largest political gathering in Denver since Obama in 2008.

Also bigger than the 2024 DNC.

And the largest ever rally in Bernie’s career (and obviously, mine too)."

@johnbirchman @nocontexttrek Fun fact, one of those Antedians is played by Mick Fleetwood of the band Fleetwood Mac. He even shaved his beard off to play the role.
@cbleslie @nocontexttrek It's 2nd season, you can tell by the collars and the cut on their uniforms, which would make it '88 or '89 I think.

West Virginia can't require incarcerated atheist to participate in religious programming, judge says

A federal judge in West Virginia has ruled that the state corrections agency can’t force an incarcerated atheist and secular humanist to participate in religiously-affiliated programming to be eligible for parole. In a sweeping 60-page decision issued Tuesday, Charleston-based U.S. District Court Judge Joseph Goodwin said Saint Marys Correctional Center inmate Andrew Miller “easily meets his threshold burden of showing an impingement on his rights.” Goodwin issued a preliminary injunction requiring West Virginia Division of Corrections and Rehabilitation officials to remove completion of a state-run and federally-funded residential substance abuse program from Miller’s parole eligibility requirements. The agency did not return a request for comment Thursday.
