i've fought bears before.
don't believe the myth that bears either,
a, just want your food,
or b, are just trying to protect their young.

true that this is the case
for most bears you are likely to encounter,
however
at a certain time of year,
male bears become aggressive
and will attack humans on sight.

bears are struggling to survive,
so i show mercy and let them live,
so they learn not to pressure humans.
