@sebboh You have to place an emoji in your TOOT window. Then copy the text that appears and stick it in the name field in your profile. Once you save your profile, the emoji will appear next to your name.

Day two for me on Mastodon and I've already connected with lots of great people. I've always liked to root for the underdog so I'm hoping this thing sticks around.

@leo That makes SOME sense to me, but what is the advantage? Can't you follow and interact with users on different instances already with one account? P.S. I'm still learning, I'm about an hour into this whole thing.
