@PadreSJ I reached out to you only because you were the only person I associated with Rome and the Vatican as I've been a Twit listener and fan for many many years.

@PadreSJ we won't have transportation. We're basically going to be dropped in the middle of the city and left alone for 9 hours. The Sistine Chapel is probably at the top of our list. We are there as part of a Mediterranean Cruise. Despite getting up shortly after midnight to try to sign up for the Vatican tour, it was already full so we are on our own. I guess my question to you is if we are in the vicinity of the Vatican and want to see only two or three things would be your recommendation?

@PadreSJ It just occurred to me that you might be the ideal person to ask. My wife and I will be in Rome for 10 hours on October 9th. Any recommendations on how to make the most of it?
