This story has become so much more than just the antics of two teenage girls. Things are getting serious now, especially with Eva's older brother and her friend's older sister. It's almost as though it was meant to be this way, which isn't going to make anyone happy.
This week I'm working on the second book in my Eva and Skye series. I have to write about the aftermath of what happened last year, and there's going to be some unforeseen consequences from their little 'business.' I'm also adding in two more POVs.
I don't know if it's a Canadian thing, but people are in a better mood for the holidays if there's snow on the ground. I've worked in retail and restaurants and I've seen people's moods during this time of year. When it snows for the holidays, they're happier.
My choice? Snow. It's Canada and snow comes whether we want it to or not. Plus, it makes everything look clean. I always look forward to the first snow fall of the season. It also makes the holidays a little more magical.

From the Recipe Box: Homemade Salisbury Steak.
This is another recipe that I found on TikTok, and I was pleasantly surprised that I had a majority of the ingredients in the house already. I love Salisbury steak dinner, but my only experience with them is the tv dinners, and while they are okay, anytime I tried to make it myself using a hamburger patty, it never tasted good.

I though that once I bought a tower, I'd write more. Don't know why I thought that because all I really do on it is play games and browse. I still get more writing done when I'm on the laptop.
I see all these beautiful works of art in knitting, and I keep forgetting that I have 10 balls of black yard to make my coat. Or a skirt. I don't know anymore. #knitting
Good morning! Bought a lap desk for my laptop. I don't know why I got rid of my old one, but I did, and I was using a folded throw blanket instead. There are fans underneath and I can hook it up to my laptop to power them. Don't know why it's on an angle though...
