Making a link between innovation on the internet and yaoi being a new word to someone seems to convey that the word must have appeared a few years ago. Being at least as old as the early 2010s, and probably much older, I didn’t check, makes it a long time ago by comparison.

Yes, the Tolkien elves come from the Germanic elves.

However, the Germans had kinda forgot about their own elves. Meanwhile, the English started representing elves as smaller creatures. The German picked up that notion from the English.

Now, the LotR needs to distinguish the Tolkien elves from the elves commonly thought of by Germans, which is no longer the old Germanic elves but the new English elves.

At least, if I understood right.

Am I the only person who see a horse?

It’s been a long time I haven’t played One Hour One Life, but when I left it, it was very well possible to get a weapon, maybe a horse and some armor, and devastate a peaceful thriving community.

I loved that game. I only stopped because of the realities of being a full-time working dad.

Doesn’t China still have access to Russian oil? Or does it go through the Strait of Hormuz too?
Being in Canada, I’m feeling so much relief now. My fear of dying soon isn’t entirely gone, but I’m feeling more hopeful.
