September 12, 2023: Status?

Is it the status? The subtitle for this blog reads, "Status, Updates, Thoughts, Stuff," alluding to the type of content I expected to write here when I launched. In that sense, status refers to social media-style status updates. But was that perhaps a Freudian slip? If I'm including updates as its own entry, then what is status truly referring to? I'm not (consciously, anyway) a person who seeks recognition or status.
