Not to point this at you but I am getting a bit tired of hearing people parrot the point that If they’re low cost then corps will buy them in droves.
Most companies will set up a deal with other companies to buy bulk at low prices, I highly doubt valve will offer that considering the restrictions they put on buying the steam deck to avoid scalpers.
I’d like to hope the Gabe cube be priced at a reasonable consumer viable price (+ ram tax) with the same 1 per account restriction that they had on the deck
The games that will play natively on the steam frame will have to support it on a game level, but for streaming it’s handled at the os level through “Foveated Streaming”. So the PC isn’t getting an fps boost from it but it does allow the latency to be very low through streaming.
I’m not sure that the eye tracking data will be passed through for foveated rendering from the PC side though I can’t imagine why it wouldn’t. In that case you get both render and streaming which would be incredible
what is his addition has barely anything to it.
I heavily disagree? There’s a litany of other samples that he’s compiled to make an entirely different song, see here, I think the general point people are making here is that her rendition is the musical equivalent of a reaction video. The lyricism is good, sure, but I think she absolutely should’ve taken more creative liberties with the way she handled the instrumental.
There’s an excellent, albeit 5hr documentary about the history of EVE online, its absolutely incredible
