AOL is finally shutting down their dial up service in the US. According to '22 Census data, approximately 175,000 US households still connect through dial-up services.

I ordered a BELT sandwich at Tim Hortons today. The lady behind the counter asked if I wanted Bacon or Sausage. "What would the B stand for if I got sausage? That would be a SELT" was my answer. She looked very confused.

I have attended several developer events across two provinces in the last month and am surprised by the amount of bragging, boasting and judging that has been happening about the tools and technology that developers are using to complete their projects.

No matter if you use PHP, WordPress, Django, Laravel, Vue.js, Angular, React, Flask, ASP.NET, Node.js or something else, it doesn't really matter as long as you're getting the end result that meets the needs of the project/client.

I was asked recently, "How are you so good with figuring out new technology and software?" to which I responded, "Because I take a moment to think about what I want to do, analyze the interface to find what I want...and I read the prompts."
I am always very surprised when I see people who don't seem to understand tabbed browsing. How does one navigate the web effectively in 2025 using one single viewport?

When you think of high-converting websites, what comes to mind? Clean, minimal designs, and a well-thought-out user interface. A theory has been simmering beneath the surface of the web design world for a while now: ugly websites sell better.

Do Ugly Websites Sell Better? A Contrarian Look at Web Design and Conversion Rates

The idea that ugly websites can sell better challenges traditional design principles, suggesting that authenticity and imperfection sometimes drive higher conversions.

I can't believe it's been 5 years since we were all locked down in isolation. What's one lasting impact that the COVID-19 pandemic still has on your business or industry (for better or worse)?
