On top of that, it's very inexpensive to self host a Plex server with an old laptop. and a Usenet + NZB crawler are less than one of these accounts yearly plus they don't auto-renew so I have to manually choose to sign back up when I need to use it again...

In short, framing the USPS as 'too big to fail' is a horseshit opinion for 'up their own ass' neoliberal ghouls.

The USPS is not and should never have attempted to be a business. It's a service that the government we pay taxes to offers us as citizens.

The 40 billion dollar overhaul they want is a drop in the bucket compared to discretionary spending for the DoD which loses untold amounts of money, weapons, and property every year and routinely fails audits.

Also simply ignoring the insane inefficiencies the DoD engages in by paying for private companies to subcontract out all military bids into an hydra-esque ouroboros of money laundering and human misery.
