If you're a recent or upcoming college graduate with a bachelor's in CS, SW Engineering, or EE you check that box. The 12 years of in-vehicle cybersecurity experience is much tougher to fulfill, so you either have to be working with an automotive company (or parts supplier) already or maybe, just maybe if you've been attending conferences and doing stuff with Car Hacking Villages that could be an entry way into a discussion. That said if you've just started your college career and you have a passion for cars and want to get into automotive cybersecurity then you can start working towards that now. One Car Hacking Village example is at the annual Defcon Conference (https://defcon.org) but it's not the only one.
