Someone should invent a tractor beam to pull Starlink constellations out of orbit to harvest them for their RAM. I think it might be the cheapest option at this point.
Now that the FCC has banned all consumer routers, it's time to get creative with IPv6 so you don't need NAT anymore. 🙃
Hate to be that guy... But If you guys had kept a subset of critical servers running on-prem in a properly hardened state in an isolated network you might not have needed to install Crowdstrike on them in the first place.

This Crowdstrike outage is absolutely bonkers.

They have so much adoption with MSPs, Government, Healthcare and Financial industry this is going to be a weird week if they can't push a remote fix to the 100M endpoints currently bootlooping.

Ever since Server 2008 R2, UAC has prevented Local Admins on Domain Servers from accessing SMB shares locally, when they have Group ownership via a domain group. You have to take ownership of the local files to traverse the directories, the domain group ownership isn't honored.

But if you access the UAC path from another server with the same user, full access is permitted.

I thought this was a bug in 2009, I figured Server 2008 R2 SP1 would fix it.

I couldn't find any instructions on booting Fedora 40 on the Pinebook Pro... Turns out it seems relatively trouble-free if you're running a recent release of Tow-Boot (or U-Boot)
