Israel scored with Jananot - The Prima Donnas and Protected Space. Japan had two shows in Liar Liar and Hell is Other People. Singapore boasts People Like Us, Marshall was a co-production of India and the US, and Thai Street Food : Best Kept Secret shows off Thailand.

With no WSWC fests in Asia or Africa, these shows are over achievers. Movie-making powerhouse Iran has 3 shows in the Asian top 10. SAM, the top Iranian and Asian show was also top 50 overall, so congratulations! Kudos to IThe Pearl and At the End of the Night as well.

Asia and Africa, while quite populous, had only 23 shows combined in the cup. While showcasing 13 shows here over represents them compared to other continents, we hope to encourage more creators from these regions to use these WSWC festivals to get attention for their shows.

The Sender, Being Turi, and Literally dead are the other 3 NZ shows in this top 15. Fergus, Slightly Cracked: The Trilogy, Greystanes, Bush Bash, Deserted, River Tap That, and Closure close out the Australians shows of this 15.

Oceania shows are over 10% of the 2025 WSWC. In this top 15, Sally McClean's Walking Shadows Vol. 3 is 7th overall, and the top Oceania and Australian show. A Series of Unfortunate Dates, top NZ show Camp Be Better, and Buried also made the overall top 20. Pretty impressive.

Apartment A is the top Argentina of the 18 represented in the cup and the 6 represented here. Chile is represented by Pepe Pollo Show, and Columbia has the well regarded web doc We are Stories. Relationship Anarchy from Peru rounds out the top 20. Congratulations to all!

169 South America shows appeared in 2025 WSWC festivals, and here are the top 20. Queen Lear, number 3 overall, is the top South American and Brazilian show. Brazil had 137 shows in the cup, by far the most, so this is impressive. Congrats to the creators, cast, and crew!

Adventures in Zeroworld : The Incredible Shrinking Mannequin, is the top US show with 6 other shows making the top 21. Mexico is represented by the highly awarded Who the Hell is Daniel? Congratulations to all!

All the shows here were in the top 50, worldwide. And La Terre Appelle Mathilde was top 10 in last year's WSWC too. Previous seasons of Abracavers and Illumingents have ranking highly in previous cups too. Impressive.
