@writeblankspace @stux Having had dogs all my life, over 55 years, it's sad when they cross the rainbow bridge, takes a while to get over the loss, but can tell when they're ready to go. Their face, their movement, discomfort. Never had one that passed in sleep, always been you see they can't carry on and have to make decision to be kind to them. After period of time I get another dog, it doesn't replace, but complements what you've lost. You always remember what you've lost but new experiences
