Totally random, while at a ranch last week helping recover from storm damage was inspired power of wind gusts and still windy observing noisy roar drowning out voices as if wind blew away spoken words, laughingly so (while safe); scratched this little ditty about this situational phenomenon and missed connection, or taken deeply, can be perceived metaphorically with wind representing life’s chaos and whirl and missing moment(s)…

No Kings - October 18 (and every day)
How Much?
Expected to take; do we break?
So much so
So much fear
So how low?
It’s not clear
Why is it so?
Hate rules
Love to sow
Angry fools
Can’t escape
Face head on
Societal fate
Humanity torn
Show up now
Stand up all
Rights vowed
Time to howl!

America’s past fight against Nazis and sacrifice.
Visited WW2 American cemetery in Luxembourg, 5,000+ buried from Battle of Bulge (10,000+ Americans died), last major WW2 battle, to defeat Nazis.
Excuse sniffling in video, couldn’t prepare myself, still shaking… compounding my emotions, standing there in upmost humbleness, thanks, and we have a fascist Nazi sympathizer and apparent holocaust denier in our WH.
We the People; these past of us gave ultimate sacrifice to defeat evil fascism.
“The less talent they have, the more pride, vanity and arrogance they have. All these fools, however, find other fools who applaud them.”
Erasmus of Rotterdam (1466-1536), Christian humanist, satirist, and philosopher

It's not cliche, not meaningless.
We have collective power.
First 3x words Constitution defines it,
"We The People... ." 🇺🇸
This election, these (or any) chaotic times gives me a lot of pause (I know I'm not alone), resulting in inspired reflection to reconfirm, stripped down, to what it is all about, important.
If I may, a true story, in self-righteous undisciplined short prose...
It's true the patriarchal conception of gender welds gender, sexual orientation, and presentation together, which would be problematic even if it didn't do so in a forcibly cis-heteronormative way; e.g., the only way to be a "real woman" is to be a conventionally feminine (white) cis-het woman, preferably with children.
That said, it's not helpful to dismantle the concept of cisgender just because patriarchy also treats cis gay people as "gender traitors."
Patriarchy is just stupid.
A good perspective (with historical basis); from Prof. Bartov, it’s a non-hard line Zionist, non hypocritical and non current Israel view, as such, it’s rational. What is antisemitism?
