This weekend's films were a particularly eclectic group. The Naked and the Dead is a war film based on a Norman Mailer novel. Near Death is a 6 hour Wiseman documentary about ICU end care, Alice in Wonderland is a hard core pornographic musical, Double Agent 73 is an exploitation spy thriller, Ruby Gentry is a melodrama potboiler, Heart of Gold is a concert film, Cocaine Bear is a killer animal horror, Napoleon and Samantha is a children's film, Safe Men is a comedy.
