3d printers eh? what a ball-ache. busted the thermistor on it which technically is an easy swap but because the printer is so old, the broken one is welded in to the heatblock by several years of carbonized plastic polymers which might actually be the strongest material on earth
Ok we're off to a good start here, now I just need to put the buttons and sticks assembly back on and bugger about with the software side of it
victory is mine, fucking hell what a rigmarole, i had to eugene toombs my hand + screwdriver down the tiny hole between the top coin mech box and the bottom cash box and undo the screw holding the hasp on the back of the lock
well there's yer problem. forgot to do the old mark 1 eyeball test first of all. amazed it would even boot into safe mode actually. bollocks and piss and arse.
i guess this is all moot until i've answered the "will it even still boot anymore?" question

anyway how you all doing? i've nearly finished scratchbuilding a 3d printer based on the prusa i3 mk2. the frame is made of 3030 extrusion and is sturdy as fuck. just need the motors and stuff now. also pictured: a catbutt
