This is a whisky double, neat. Or as I have taken to calling it, “whisky double FUCK ICE”
Today I’m participating in the #AmnestyInternational Write for Rights campaign. The first letter I wrote is in support of Mother Nature Cambodia, which you can read more about here: https://takeaction.amnesty.ca/page/178099/petition/1 #W4R25 #FreeMotherNatureCambodia
Love this new Apple Maps feature that allows you to move “My Car” anywhere in the world. Enjoy the high-quality data!
Meanwhile, in #Canada.... #NoKings
I think I found a workaround to the lack of pronoun display options in Google. Just put your pronouns in as your "Nickname" separated by commas. (It won't accept forward slashes.) This works because the display name is in the format "Name (Nickname)" so the parentheses get added automatically.
I've fallen behind on my posts, so here are the advent beers from the past four days. December 13 was Exile by Tooth and Nail, a solid pale ale offering. December 14 was Autopop: Tahitian Treats by Blood Brothers, a tangy fruity beer inspired by the soda of the same name. December 15 was RGLR BEER by Sonnen Hill, a very light beer that would be a good fit for a patio in the summer. December 16 was Punch by Slake, a mostly sour beer with some fruit.
Today's beer from the Sidewalk Beer Shop advent calendar is the Anderson brewery's Cream Ale. Manages to be smooth without being too light, and with a nice sweetness on the finish. #WaterlooRegion #Beer
Advent beers are best when shared, so Sumit and I had this one as dessert after dinner tonight! It's "Decadence: Mexican Molé" by Rorschach brewery. It is very smooth, with a very forward chocolate milk flavour and a hint of spice in the finish. #WaterlooRegion #Beer
Today's advent calendar beer is "1154" from True History. It's an Alsatian Lager, which I don't normally drink. (Kronenbourg 1664 is the classic example of this style, which I avoid because it has glucose syrup in it -- presumably the microbrewed version does not!) It's light and crisp despite not being my go-to style for beer.

Today's selection from the Sidewalk Beer Shop advent calendar was "Wayfare" by Fine Balance. It's a double IPA that bucks the current trend toward super-fruity hop combinations; this one tastes a lot more herbal to me.
